FODE was set up in 1997 as a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Manpower Supply Group.
It is divided into three divisions :

• Design and Engineering Division
• Project Management and Consultancy Services
• Operations and support services

FODE’s aim is to provide complete engineering support to its joint venture partners using a mix of well trained and experienced Nigerian and expat engineers based in Nigeria. This has been achieved through technology transfer with our joint venture partners. We exchange local knowledge and skills for appropriate expatriate training and technology. We aim to provide an atmosphere and environment which is conducive to learning and acquiring the appropriate skills for our Nigerian workforce. We also maintain the highest HSE standard and above all safety and security of our personnel.
FODE is highly committed to executing Nigerian engineering projects with high efficiency and recognises that majority of all such work must be executed in Nigeria.
FODE’s existing facilities and technical capability will be enhanced with the incorporation of a comprehensive technical library, specifications and standards, policies and procedures, all of which will be required to address the particular requirements of the new Nigerian company.

The accumulated experience of the FODE staff is extensive and wide ranging.  Being a multi-disciplinary organisation we are able to offer clients comprehensive services across a broad spectrum of engineering and project activities. Our services allow continuous improvements to take place through feedback from ongoing and completed projects back into strategic and front-end studies.
Fode’s skills range from consultancy / engineering services to the provision of support services for the operation of onshore and offshore facilities. The company has a firm commitment to the provision of high quality cost-effective engineering and manpower services and operates a Quality System to the requirements of ISO 9001. Fode has a registered DPR licence and is registered with all the operators in Nigeria.
The Head Office in Lagos is fully set-up with computer hardware and modern communications equipment as well as a comprehensive set of Software (Ref: Engineering Facilities Summary) to support 50-60 engineering personnel. The building comprises two floors of approx 320sq mts (Ref: Office Layout), located in a quiet area of Lekki Phase 1 with parking facilities, 24 hour security and serviced by a 80 KVA generator.
In addition there is an Annex Building (Ref: Office Layout) which will provide an additional 190sq mts of office space.
