Offshore DivisionFode has operated in the oil and gas industry for over 12 years. In addition to a large number of engineering and manpower supply projects, Fode has carried out a number of offshore projects. In 2001 Fode with its partners Bergesen Offshore provided an FPSO for Addax on a 4 year contract with renewal options which have been taken up by Addax. Fode also provided a mobile production unit Borgen Dolphin for Exxon Mobil in conjunction with Fred Olsen Production. The MOPU was placed on a number of successive projects by Exxon .
Presently Fode has been awarded a two year contract with one year extension for one of its 250 feet rigs by one of the major Operators in Nigeria. Fode recently leased a 7.5 acre marine offshore base in Port Harcourt. Fode plans to use this facility to service one of our jack up barges when it arrives in Nigeria. Earlier this year Fode executed a joint venture agreement for Nigeria with Atlantic Oilfield Services who are one of the largest drilling and jack up Management and Operations companies in the world. Fode has recruited very experienced marine offshore men who have long standing experience with both Chevron and Exxon Mobil. In summary Fode’s offshore division offers excellent state of the art solutions in floating production (including LPG FPSO’s ) , drilling rigs and accommodation barges. |
